Trip to mount fuji!

Before the end of the summer holiday the school had a trip to mount fuji you could go on if you wanted to.

But not just Mt. Fuji. On the busride there and back we got to see other things too. ( Below are not my photos, but photos taken by other people that went on the trip. When I have more time I'll upload some of my photos here too.)

You can ride horses up on Mt. Fuji, lol! You can ride from 15 mins to up to 2 hours I think.

Before getting to Mt. Fuji we stopped at this nice waterfall. I'll upload more pictures later. It was awesome. We also got to go to a place where you catch a fish with your own hands and then get to grill it and eat it. Unfortunately one person took pretty much all fish instead of one (as instructed) so me and other people didn't really get a chance to catch a fish.

After that, we got to the hotel, which had Japanese style rooms and a big "onsen" in the cellar (which I didn't go to). We stayed one night and the following day went to Mt. Fuji, and then to visit a place where we had a buffé of grapes!

Summer Holiday and Cat Café

Yo! Just realised this blog has had a 1000 views. Nice.

I feel that I haven't looked at my blog at all during this summer holiday. Which is weird because I still sit a lot at the computer just watching stupid videos and so on. I have lots of free time! :o But that free time has just made me really lazy! I have only cooked for myself like once or twice this summer, haha. Reasons for that above being lazy is because I hate cooking and the pre-made food is a lot tastier than the crapfood I can cook.

Oh, well. Here's a little post:

I wanted to go to a cat café for a really long time, because I love cat's. Finally the chance came and me and a friend who also likes cat's went there in the rain.
I had high hopes for the café and I was a little disappointed, even though I had fun. I really wanted a cat that liked to cuddle, that would sleep in my lap etc like my cat at home. But these cat's were not going to do that. They barely wanted to be petted. :( I guess there is no replacement for my cat at home even in a country with cat cafés.

This was a flyer for the place we went to, but I can't tell you the name because I cannot read it.

These pics are from inside the café

I really liked this cat >u<

Party for the July children, BBQ and Tanabata

Just transfered all the pics from my phone to my pc and sorted them out, which made me realise there are so many things I haven't written about yet!

Like the time when my and almost my whole class went to karaoke to celebrate all the people in the class that had their B-day in July. And when we had a BBQ, and when we went to the Tanabata festival! This all happened in July, so I'm just going to clump them all together in one post. Some of the pictures I use are not taken by me and I hope that if someone in the pictures or who took the pictures doesn't want me to use them here tells me =).

To celebrate: 4 hours of karaoke. And cake. Very tasty cake.
It was really fun and everyone sung something, even those who didn't really want to.
Cake made by Ari (the one who's covering their face).

The people in my class like to take pictures, lol.

BBQ:
This took place on a friggin HOT day and it was far away from where we live. When we were walking to the spot you could already hear people saying that they wanted to go home, haha. The place was really nice though and as the sun disappeared I started to enjoy it more. With the sun gone we played some games and such but then had to pack up and leave, because you couldn't BBQ there whenever and for however long as you'd like.

This BBQ was meant for everyone in the dorm, but as you can see, not a lot of people made it, lol.

Tanabata in Tennoji:
The Tanabata festival (as far as I know) is when you put a wish on a paper and hang it in a tree. When you walk into this shrine area you can walk through a gate full of wishes. We didn't stay for long, but it was fun to see.

These things produce steam, which is nice, but I don't get why it's there..

This poor baby was not the only kitten we found at the shrine area. I wish I could've taken it home.. atleast we know it was with it's parent.

This pond was in the shrine area, and FULL of turtles! Fun to see.

Harry Potter!

So finally the day came when I got to go to universal studios again - this time to see the new Harry Potter attractions.

I was really glad to go, so of course it just had to start raining! Thanks to the rain you couldn't ride any of the rollercoasters that were outside.
Also for some reason, today was dispite all the rain, the day when everone decided that they wanted to go to USJ. Around lunchtime all open attractions at the "Harry Potter world" that we wanted to go to, had a 3 hour wait.

I did not get to see the whole thing today, but what I saw I really liked. And I am looking forward to the future when things will have calmed down around HP at USJ so that you don't have to stand in line for 3 hours, and wake up at 6.30, rush to USJ to get in and actually be able to enter the HP world.
Then I wouldn't have been starving all day from not eating breakfast etc. xD

When we got in we ran to the HP world, where a bunch of pine trees were planted as you walk into the village of Hogsmeade. Actually started to feel like I was in Sweden again with all those pine trees.

The houses are all covered in fake snow, and they lead up to the main attraction which is the big castle of Hogwarts. Inside Hogwarts there is a 3D ride and as you stand in line waiting to get to it you get to walk through several rooms of the castle. Dumbledoor's room, the potions classroom, a room with the talking portraits etc. It was all very fun. Made waiting in line that much better.
The ride was fun too, where you get on it the ceiling is like the enchanted one they have in the dining room at Hogwarts. The ride itself is full of dementors and Hermionie's ugly Japanese dubbed voice, haha. The dementors made it feel sorta like you were in a ghost house.

We also went to Ollivanders shop, which is a show where Ollivander chooses a child amongst the people that go into the shop and let's the child try wands until on the third try they find the right one. This Ollivander spoke both English and Japanese mixed, though when he spoke Japanese you could barely hear what he said because his accent was quite bad.
When the show is done you get lead out into the shop where you can buy wands from all different characters.

After that though, because of the lines and the rain there was not much more to do in the HP world. We got some Butter Beer, and checked out the stores etc and then we left to eat.

I only took one picture on that day because I felt I could take some that look better when it's not raining (I bought a year-pass after all so I can go back whenever I want). Got permission to use some other pictures though =P.

I took this picture of the castle, which looks awesome(the castle, not the picture). I wish I had this castle all to myself.

This is a picture from one of the stores, you cannot buy those brooms but if I didn't see wrong(which I might have) they actually did sell brooms too...

Yeah, ugly pic of me. I guess maybe you didn't wanna see that? Haha. ^^'
